AFN = 151 amps
AFB = 122 amps

Describe the main function of the AFW system.
A
Maintain level in the SGs under accident conditions to permit an RCS cooldown to 350F at a rate of 75F/Hr

What are the suction sources of the AFW pumps?
A
CST - 300k gallons - enough water to maintain the unit in hot standby, cooldown to SDC
RWMT - 300k gallons - only AFA and AFB can take suction.

Describe the operation of the AFA/AFB room coolers.
A
- Each room has its own cooler
- Auto starts when the pump starts (steam ad. Valve for AFA)
- Stops 5 minutes after the pump stops
- Cooled by EC
- Maintains the room < 104F
