*Stayed at home with their mothers until age 7
*8-14: were taught reading, writing, music, arithmetic and wrestling
15-17: learned the art of reasoning, speech making, arguing, and convincing
18-20: military service

A
- Were faithful to their husbands
- Lived exclusively in the Gynaecium
- Weaved, cooked, took care of kids
- *Rich Women: gave orders to slaves
- *Poor women: were: nannies, labourers and prostitutes

A
- Learned household tasks; cooking, cleaning, weaving…)
- Stayed with their mother until their wedding; around age 15
- Husbands were usually MUCH older, and were chosen by their father
