- function inf. div: motor to medial & inf rectus & inf oblique
- function: parasympathetic innervationt o iris & lens
- test: eye tracking (ADD, elevation, depression, upward & outward, upwards & inward, downward & inward)
Cranial nerve IV
- Trochlear
- motor & sensory
- function: motor fibers innervate the superior oblique muscle of eyeball
- test: eye tracking (downward & medial)
Cranial nerve V
- trigeminal
- motor & sensory
- function 3 branches: opthalmic branch, maxillary branch & mandibular brnach. maxillary branch provide motor input to muscles of mastication
- test: muscles of mastication (bite down)
- test: blink reflex
- test: facial sensation (dull/sharp)
