Pulmonary function to confirm the diagnosis

A
Reversible airflow obstruction (after bronchodilator of at least 20% in FEV1)
Bronchial hyperresponsiveness (+ve Methacholine challenge with PC20<4mg/ml, or Exercise challenge demonstrating 15% drop in FEV1)
FEV1/FVC of 70% or less
