what is asthma
A chronic inflammatory disease of the airway of the lungs. It narrows the airways as they swell up. The aiways produce thick mucus that narrows the airways even more. Asthma can not be fixed so the aim is to prevent asthma attacks and keep the airways open

what is an asthma preventer inhaler?
Preventers are “symptom controllers”. It is an inhaled corticosteroid that have an anti-inflammatory action that reduce swelling and irritation of the airways. They also contain bronchodilator to open up Blood vessels in the airways
what is an asthma reliever inhaler?
Relievers are fast-acting bronchodilators that open up the airways during asthma attacks. Examples of a reliever is ventolin and respigen . Both of these contain salbutamol which acts on beta 2 receptors .
