- Form a blood testes barrier to protect the sperm from antibody attack.
- Provides nutrients to replenish developing cells.
What is the function of the prostate gland with regards to fertilisation?
Produces an alkaline fluid to neutralise vaginal acidity and clotting enzymes to clot semen within the female.
