-Wash hands
-Put on gloves
-Check body position
-Determine destination

Standing From Chair:

Answer 3

-Ask C move forward in seat
-Stand on C affected side
-Ask C to put unaffected arm on arm of chair
-Rock and stand on count of 3
-Keep your arm near C’s back
-Check how C is feeling

Question 4

Walking

Answer 4

-State destination
-Walk with C, standing slightly behind and to one side (affected side) arm still by back

Question 5

Assisting to sit back down:

Answer 5

-Have C pivot until back is to chair and ask when they feel the chair on back of legs
-Ask them to reach arm back to arm of chair
- Ease C into chair on count of 3

-Check C body alignment
-Remove gloves and wash hands
-Ask about CC items
