be sythesized as polyproteins.
Some viruses use proteases to cleave polyproteins in to discrete functional viral proteins.
What are the mechanisms of release from hosr cell?
disintergration of infected cell (burst)

Which viruses usually gets released in the burst mechanism?
naked nucleocapsids.
What is the slow release mechanism?
with acquisition of the envelope as the nucleocapsid buds through a virus modified cellular membranes. Hepatitis B virus does this.
Does the budding process hurt the host cell?
no
Cells persistently infected with some viruses remain normal in appearance and continue to multiply for many generations while budding viruses from their surfaces. However, some cytopathic effects may be seen in infected cells.
