details of all tasks undertaken including information provided by the victim and witnesses.

that specialist sexual assault support is available and with the victims consent, contact that support.

During the Initial Action process while the matter is transferred to CIB what actions should be taken?
- ensure the victims and any other persons involved safety and immediate health needs are met.
- handle exhibits carefully to minimise contamination/loss of trace evidence
- consider other immediate needs
- secure witnesses
- locate or identify suspected offender considering if it is appropriate to speak with the suspect immediately to prevent loss of evidence.
