Not like the Impressionist who tries to capture the natural light of each scenery, Post-Impressionists use bright colors to express their emotions of the world around them not following the natural color of objects.

Brushstrokes of post-impressionist artwork; some are very pointy, wide, broad, short, and rough. It is like this since it is not intended to be a realistic picture but an expression of the artist’s emotion.
