Organs
Pharynx - extends from larynx to the tip of the tongue; oral Cavity - lips, teeth, tongue, roof of the mouth; Nasal cavity - nose
divisions of the roof of the mouth
Teeth,
teeth ridge - hard convex surface on the roof of the mouth, just behind the upper teeth,
hard palate -hard concave, bony structure, behind teeth ridge
soft palate/velum - soft, fleshy portion behind the hard palate
Uvula - fleshy finger-like structure, at the extreme end of the soft palate
divisions of the tongue
Tip;
Blade - lies opposite to the teeth ridge
Front - lies opposite to the hard palate
Central - lies opposite to the part between the hard and soft palate
Back - lies opposite to the soft palate
root - lies beyond the back of the tongues
What are articulators

passive articulator(organ that doesn’t move) and active articulator (organ that moves)
