Articles of Confederation
Adopted by congress in 1777 and submitted to the states for ratification. Established a central government with a congress. It was unicameral so each state had one vote. 9/13 required to pass important laws. To amend the Articles you needed 13/13. Gave the congress power to wage war, make treaties, send diplomatic representatives, and borrow money. Had between 2-7 members per state. One vote per state. Term is one year. Term limit is no more than three out of every six years. Congressional pay was paid by states.
Constitution
Both established by the same people. Bicameral - congress, divided into House of Representatives and Senate. Two senators per state. One vote per Representative. Term = 2 years for a rep., and 6 years for a senator. No term limit. Congressional pay is paid by the federal government.
