Renal
paired arteries, right renal artery more cranial than left, supply kidneys, enter kidney through the hilus
Lumbar
paired arteries, leave the dorsal surface of the aorta, extend dorsally and terminate in a spinal and dorsal branch
Caudal phrenic
runs cranially to supply the diaphragm, comes off a common trunk from the aorta
Cranial abdominal
off common trunk from the aorta, continues into the abdominal wall and ramifies between the transversus abdominus and the internal abdominal obliques`
Ovarian or testicular
ovarian: homologous to testicular, paired, divides into variable number of branches in the mesovarium
testicular: leaves aorta in midlumbar region, paired, exit through the vaginal ring
Deep circumflex iliac
paired, arises from the aorta close to the origin of the external iliac a., supplies the musculature of the caudodorsal portion of the abdominal wall
