FSM must ensure crew are notified as part of pre flight briefing
Immediate amendment
Notice is immediate and permanent, an SEP or AvMed NOTICE is issued on logipad - these would be incorporated in the next annual revision of manual
Manual revision
Notices will be incorporated into the SEP manual annually
Manual Holder Responsibility
CC required to read and acknowledge receipt of updates PRIOR to each flight
- synchronise on logipad to download latest notices, acknowledge, read, re-synchronise

What is the purpose of Event Review Group (ERG)?
Provide independent review of incident and identified findings and conclusions.
It considers:
- deliberate misconduct, recklessness, rule breaking for personal gain
What is the purpose of Peer Review Group (PRG)?
The purpose is to allow for an independent peer rescues of a corporate safety investigation that has not been subject to a full ERG.
It has 2 main functions:
- peer review the quality of the investigation report including the root cause identified
- identify any additional corrective or preventative measures that could be taken
Where could you report safety incidents?
All in-flight incidents should be reported through the Incident report system- Occurrence Report (OR) in the intelex app
SENTRY- confidential reporting- internal reporting system
CHRIRY - confidential reporting- external reporting system
Crew break and rest entitlement
20 minute break every 6 hours
Rest is managed my FSM/OBM
Non required rest is at FSM discretion
What is the role of CAA?
Civil Aviation Authority
UK aviation regulator. CAA lay out the requirements and guidance material for operation.
What is the role of IATA?
International Air Transport Association
IATA is the trade association 300 airlines. It supports areas of aviation activity and helps formulate safety standards.
Role of VAA administration
Set out company policies that have been formulated in accordance with regulations

Cabin safety, security, AvMed
What is the purpose of non punitive reporting?
To promote open and honest culture, positive safety culture and allows for incidents to be reported in confidence to address mistakes without fear of reprisals or being disciplined. Encourages open reporting.
What is the required crew on all fleets?
2 - FC on all fleets
8 - CC A330 and B787-9
9 - CC A350-1000
