An officer will make an arrest without a warrant when probable cause exists for the following;
-All felony and misdemeanors battery acts constituting Domestic violence.
-Traffic offenses (DUI, Felony hit and run, homicide by vehicle)
-Protective order violations
NRS states that the officer has discretion to arrest, cite or given an advisement when there is probable cause to believe a battery was committed within the preceding ____ days upon;

- A person with whom the suspect is actually residing
- A sibling by blood or marriage (if the person is not the custodian or guardian of the sibling)
- A cousin (if the person is not the custodian or guardian of the cousin)
An arrestee may choose to release their personal property to an on-scene, third-party before transported to jail. If so, officers are not permitted to routinely search the released property an unless obtain the arrestees ______ or there is an _______ and ________ need to do so.
Consent or there is an articulated and compelling need to do so.
The officer will request the presence of a supervisor when;

- The release of currency to a third party is over $100.00.
- The release of non currency items to a third party appears to be valued over $250.00.
Supervisor will
1. Sign property sheet before the arrestee is transported to the appropriate detention facility.
Making a Warrantless arrest the arresting officer will:
- use only a reasonable amount of force to make the arrest.
- restrain the arrestee by handcuffing their hands behind the back, unless handicapped, obese, or other physical reasons exist to do so.
- INFORMED THE SUSPECT THAT THEY ARE UNDER ARREST AND NAMED THE CRIMINAL OFFENSE OR CAUSE FOR ARREST. 
- search the arrestee for weapons and instruments or fruits of the crime that are upon their person and/or within their immediate control.
- if interrogation is to follow, give the arrestee the Miranda Warning beforehand.
- protect and safeguard personal property.
- transport arrestee to the appropriate detention facility.
- Complete arrest procedures.
An officer may make an arrest without a warrant for:
-Crimes felony, gross, misdemeanor, or misdemeanor, which I’ve been committed in the officers presence
-felonies and Gross misdemeanors, not committed in the officers presence when the officer has problem caused that the crime was committed, and that the specific person committed it
-Any person who police officer has provost to believe is about to commit a fund in crime
-Any juvenile misdemeanors that committed in the officers presence
-Traffic off delated in NRS 484 other than DUI
-BATTERY BETWEEN SIBLINGS, COUSINS AND CURRENT ROOMMATES.
