Arm Flashcards
Proximal part of radius?
Head:has a part that attaches to radial notch of ulna
Neck
Radial tuberosity:in medial surface and place of attachment of biceps brachi tendon
Proximal part of ulna?
Olecranon process :has a notch on superior part for attachment of tricoes brachi muscle
Coronoid process:has radial notch and supinator crest and ulnar tuberosity (attachment of brachialis muscle)
Musles of anterior compartment of arm?
Coracobrachialis
Biceps brachi
Brachialis
Muscles of posterior compartment of arm?
Tricpes brachi
Coracobrachialis muscle?
Origin:coracoid process
Insertion:a line on middle part of humerus body
Nerve:musculocotaneous
Work:flexor of arm
Biceps brachi?
Origin:long head:supraglenoid tubercle Short head:coracoid process Insertion:radial tubercle Nerve:musculocutaneous Work:flexion and supination of forearm , flexor of arm
Bicipital aponeurosis?
Originates from tendon of biceps brachi and connects to deep fascia of anterior compartment of forearm
Brachialis muscle?
Origin:anterior part of humerus
Onsertion:ulnar tuberosity
Nerve:musculocutaneous and a small part from radial nerve
Work:flexor of forearm
Tricpes brachi muscle?
Origin:long head:infraglenoid tubrcle
Lateral head: superior part of radial groove of humerus
Medial head:inferior part of radial groove of humerus
Insertion:a notch on the top of olecranon process of ulna
Nerve:radial nerve
Work:extensor of forearm
Branches of brachial artery?
Profunda brachii Superior ulnar colaterl Nutrient humeral Inferior ulnar colateral Radial Ulnar
Profunda brachii artery?
Feeds posterior compartment of arm and goes through فاصله ی مثلثی and radial groove with radial nerve and gives anastomoses with posterior circumflex humeral artery and ends into two colateral artery
What is the vein of arm?
Paired brachial veins
Nerves of arm ?
Musculocutaneous:anterior compartment of arm and poste sathe khareji saed(lateral cutaneous nerve of forearm)
What are arm branches of radial nerve?
Musculus:triceps and brachio radialis and exstensor carpi radialis longus
Cutaneous:inferior cutaneous nerve of arm and posterior cutaneous nerve of forearm
Ligaments of elbow joint?
Radial collateral ligament
Ulnar collateral ligament
Anular ligament of radius
