what are the advantages of being in the EU?
-positive financial gains in trade + investment
-no tariffs to trade with others in the EU
-free trade deals with EU friends, eg Canada + Japan

what are the disadvantages of being in the EU?
-some see the EU as ‘diminishing’ the UKs powers, as they have to follow EU laws and treaties, so they lose control

-cant prevent entry of immigrants ->housing and job problems

what does brexit show?
