self appraisal - employee assess their performance which may be compared to a supervisor’s assessment

peer appraisal - conducted amongst colleagues
beneficial if the job requires teamwork

360 degrees appraisal - ratings gathered from colleagues, managers, supervisors and customers
provides more detailed feedback across all stakeholders
better understand how employees function as part of a team and to improve ways the teams work together
