What is the definition of Application of Procedures?
Identification and application of procedures in accordance with published operating instructions and applicable regulations, using the appropriate knowledge.
What are its behavioural indicators?
- Identifiy source of Operating Instructions (OI)
- Follows SOP unless a higher degree of safety dictates an appropriate deviation (for example: Controller clears you to land but there is an object on the runway)
- Identifies and follows OI in a timely manner
Correctly operate aircraft systems and associated equipment
Complies with applicable regulations
Applies relevant procedural knowledge
