what are the general symptoms of anxiety disorders?

A
  1. Physical Symptoms. SOB, sweaty palms, palpitations, nausea, dizziness, hot flushes
  2. Behaviour Symptoms. Coping strategies eg: avoidance strategies, engaging in risky behaviour, escaping anxiety producing situations
  3. Emotional Symptoms. Worry, apprehension, distress, nervousness, panic, feeling uneasy
  4. Cognitive symptoms. Thoughts that we have when we are anxious eg: “ What if….happens?”, “People will laugh at me”,
