broad spectrum; systemic infection to mild genital yeast infections

inhibits synthesis of ergosterol in the cell membrane

N/V, photophobia, cardiac arrythmia, menstrual irregularities, hepatotoxicity
Antifungals/ Azoles PK/PD
often has drug interactions due to impact on CYP enzymes, especially ketoconazole
