What is the treatment for a child with a concussion
The child should not return to play until they received medical clearance
Pediatric and adolescent athletes should not be returned to play on the same day of the concussion, even if they become asymptomatic
When is a CT indicated for a concussion
Loss of conscience greater than one minute. Severe symptoms. Abnormal neurological findings. Deteriorating neurological status. Young infant.

-4 mL LR x kg of bodyweight x % BSA burned (2nd and 3rd degree burns)
- Give half of the fluid in the first eight hours.
- Give the second half of the fluid in the next 16 hours
