Antistaphylococcal penicilin (nafcilin, oxacilin, and dicloxacilin), first gen cephalosporins (cephalexin and cefezolin), and fluoroquionolones.
What are the antibiotics that work for MRSA?
Ceftaroline, vancomycin, TMP-SMX (trimethorpim - sulfametoxazole), clindamycin, linezolid, doxicyclin, daptomycin.
Daptomycin only works for skin and right sided endocarditis.
What antibiotics work against strep A+B?
Natural penicilin, amino penicilin, 1st gen cephalosporins, trimethoprim-sulfametoxazole, macrolides, clindamycin.
What antibiotics work against Strep Pneumonia?
Natural penicilin, amino penicilin, 3rd gen cephalosporins, fluoroquinoloes, macrolides, clindamycin.

Nitrofurantoin only used for enterococcus-caused UTI.

Vancomycin, except for vancomycin-resistant enterococcus and VRSA.
