O: sides of T12-L5 vertebrae and disks, transverse processes of all vertebrae
I: lesser trochanter of femur
N: anterior rami of lumbar nerves (L1-3)
V: lumbar branch of iliolumbar a.
A: flex thigh at hip joint, stabilize joint

A

O: superior ramus of pubis
I: pectineal line o f femur
N: femoral n. (L2,3) [may receive from obturator n]
V: medial femoral circumflex & obturator aa.
A: adducts and flexes thigh/assists medial rotation

A

O: iliac crest, iliac fossa, ala of sacrum, & anterior sacro-iliac ligaments
I: tendon of Psoas major, lesser trochanter, & femur distal to it
N: femoral n (L2,3)
V: iliac branches of iliolumbar & superior gluteal aa.
A: flexes thigh at hip joint, stabilizes joint

A

O: anterior superior iliac spine & superior part of notch inferior to it
I: superior part of medial surface of tibia
N: femoral n (L2,3)
V: superficial & deep circumflex iliac, muscular branches of femoral, descending genicular & superior medial genicular
A: flex, abduct, & laterally rotates thigh at hip joint/ flex leg at knee joint (medial rotation when knee flexed)

A

O: anterior inferior iliac spine & ilium superior to acetabulum
I: via common tendinous & independent attachments to base of patella/indirectly via patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity
N: femoral n. (L2-4)
V: lateral circumflex femoral and its descending aa.
A: extend leg at knee joint, stabilizes hip joint, helps iliopsoas flex thigh
