Aetiology:
A
May be associated with systemic conditions ==>arthritis / herpes zoster / diseases affecting connective tissue.

Signs:
A
Entire conjunctiva / sclera hyperaemia
Swelling of deep layer of the sclera

Symptoms:
A
Painful -orbital area, forehead and jaw
Photophobia
Lacrimation
VAs possibly reduced

Q
Management :
A
Refer - URGENT!!!
Could lead to keratitis / glaucoma / cataracts/ retinal detachment
Treatment: - steroid drugs both systemic & topical
Cease CL wear completely
