Medialis - medial lip of the Linea Aspera and the intertrochanteric line
Intermedius - Anterior surface of the femur
Lateralis - Lateral lip of the linea aspera and the greater trochanter of the femur
Insertion - Tibial tuberosity and patella ligament
Innervation - Femoral nerve
Action - Extention of the knee
Sartorius (anterior)
Origin - ASIS
Insertion - Superior medial surface of the tibia
Innervation - Femoral nerve
Action - Knee flexion and internal rotation of the knee joint and flexion, abduction and external rotation of the hip
Pectineus (anterior)
Origin - Pectineal line
Insertion - Pectineal line of the of femur
Innervation - femoral nerve
Action - adduction and flexion of the hip
Psoas Major and Iliacus (iliopsoas) (anterior)
Origins
Psoas - transverse processes of T12 - L5
Iliacus - Iliac fossa
Insertion - Lesser trochanter of the femur
Innervations
Psoas - primary rami of L1-L3
Iliacus - Femoral nerve
Action - Flexion and external rotation of the hip
Obturator Internus (medial thigh)
Origin - Obturator foramen
Insertion - greater trochanter
Innervation - obturator nerve
Action - external rotation

Adductor part - rami of pubis and rami of ischium
Hamstring part - ishchial tuberosity
Insertions
Adductor part - Linea aspera of the femur
Hamstring part - adductor tubercle
