Distal attachment of Flexor Digitorum Longus

A

Distal to the MTP joint, the tendons pass through their respective fibrous sheaths formed by the Flexor Digitorum Brevis muscle, to attach to the plantar surface of the base of the distal phalanx of the appropriate digit (toes 2-5)
