P:Lateral condyle & Superior half of lateral tibia & interosseous membrane
D: medial & inferior surfaces of medial cuneiform and base of 1st metatarsal
N: deep fibular nerve (L4, L5)
A: Dorsiflexes ankle & inverts foot
Extensor digitorum longus
P: lateral condyle of tibia, interosseous membrane, & superior 3/4 of fibula
D: middle and distal phalanges of lateral 4 digits
N: deep fibular nerve (L4, L5)
A: extends lateral 4 digits & dorsiflexes ankle
Extensor hallucis longus
P: middle part of anterior fibula & interosseous membrane
D: dorsal aspect of distal hallux
N: Deep fibular nerve (L4, L5)
A: extends great toe, dorsiflexes ankle
Fibularis tertius
P: inferior 1/3 of anterior fibula & interosseous membrane
D: dorsal surface of 5th metatarsal
N: Deep fibular nerve (L4, L5)
A: dorsiflexes ankle & aids in eversion of the foot
