Pectoralis Major action
adducts and medially rotates the shoulder joint
draws the scapula anteriorly and inferiorly
*When it acts alone the clavicular head flexes and the sterno head extends from a flexed position

Unilateral: tilts the head the same side and rotates face superiorly towards opposite side
Bilaterally: extends the neck to AO joint, flexes head to the sternum
