ROM - Dorsiflexion. MMT - Dorsiflexion. Muscle length tests - Ankle df with knee extended (gastroc) and compare to ankle df with knee flexed
What are two good stretching exercises to improve ankle dorsiflexion with sets and reps?
Standing calf stretch: 3x30 seconds.
Seated calf stretch with a resistance band: 3x30 seconds.
What are two good strengthening exercises to improve ankle dorsiflexors with sets and reps?
Seated dorsiflexion with resistance: 3x10.
Standing band tied around ankle going into dorsiflexion: 3x10.
If I have problems plantar flexing my ankle, what would you test for in terms of ROM, MMT, and muscle length tests?
ROM - Plantar flexion. MMT - Plantar flexion. Muscle length test: N/A

Calf raises: 3x10

Seated plantar flexion with resistance: 3x10
