Describe persistence of vision
the eye keeps seeing an image for a twenty-fifth of a second after the image is no longer there. this means that when a series of frames are seen really quickly, it gives the illusion of movement.
what is stop motion?
models are moved small amounts between taking photographs called frames. they are then all put together, making them look like they are moving
How does flash/key frames work?
the most important frames are used-the start and end frames. everything else’s filled in automatically by the computer
give an advantage and disadvantage of using animation in business
an advantage is that it can attract attention to adverts. a disadvantage is that people can lose patients with long loading times

Describe a story board
normally in comic book format. Its a rough document to plan pictures, actions, dialogues and timings of animation
what is a frame rate?
this is how fast the animation moves from one frame to another

live action is filmed and each frame is traced to give a real life motion

Its widely used but a limited range of colours are available
