Q

How does the difference in number of neurones going out of CNS (for Autonomic NS) result in position of neurones “relay station”?

A

Sympathetic has many so need to meet near the CNS
Parasympathetic has few so need to split further from CNS

Relay stations are ganglions

P(ara) is closer to E(ffector) than S(symp)

Q

Describe the structure of a sarcomeres

A

Two ends are Z lines
Actin moves out from Z lines
Myosin in the middle

HIA
H-zone = no actin
I - band = only actin
A - band = all myosin
