Cephalochordata. Retain all chordate charactersitics into adulthood.
What are the 4 chordate characteristics?
Notochord, dorsal hollow nerve cord, gill slits, post anal tail.
Which chordate taxon is comprised of the tunicates? What makes them different to the cephalochordata in terms of the 4 chordate characteristics?
Urochordata. Have all cordate characteristics during infancy, but lose them during adulthood.

Vertebrata!
