Where photosynthesis takes place, using a green pigment called chlorophyll which is found in the chloroplast, which is needed to make food for the plant

The solution inside the vacuole stores materials such as sugars,
amino acids, waste products and mineral salts

• Respiration: release energy from a ‘food’ source, requires oxygen
• Sensitivity: responds to things

• Excretion: get rid of waste materials
