CT coronary angiography

What drugs should be given to someone for secondary prevention of CVD in pts with
- stable angina only
- stable angina + diabetes
- stable angina only = Aspirin
2. stable angina + diabetes = ACEi
When is PCI used to treat STEMI
Presenting within 12h of symptom onset
PCI can be given within 2h of time when fibrinolysis could have been given
When is fibrinolysis used to treat STEMI
Presenting within 12h of symptom onset
PCI cannot be done within 2h of time when fibrinolysis could have been given
If the pt still has ST elevation 60-90min after fibrinolysis, would should be done next

When is coronary angiography used to treat STEMI
- Presenting after 12h of symptom onset
2. Fibrinolysis did not work after 60-90min
First line acute management of unstable angina/ NSTEMI
- Aspirin
2. Fondaparinux (LMWH) unless angiography is planned in 24h
What drug should all pts be put on after an episode of unstable angina/ NSTEMI
Clopidogrel
