Importance: perfect sphere dome- represetative of the world? The oldest and best preserved Roman building in use. It is the largest dome in the world of unreinforced concrete and is constructed with different weights of concrete in its dome.

Importance: largest amphitheatre in the world, greatest feats of architecture built in stone and concrete.

Importance: Largest of its time, centre for the city, hypocaust system heated water- pushed hot air through the walls and floors. Free/cheap- baths were a public right
