What makes up the pelvic outlet (inferior boundary of pelvic cavity)?
Pubic symphysis, ischiopubic rami, ischial tuberosities, sacrotuberous ligaments, coccyx, sacrospinous ligaments
What makes up the pelvic brim/pelvic inlet (superior boundary of pelvic cavity)?
Pubic symphysis, pubic crests, pectineal lines, arcuate lines, sacral alae, sacral promontory
Where is the cardinal (transverse cervical) ligament?
At base of each broad ligament, extending to lateral wall
What are the round ligaments?
Remnants of gubernaculum; provide minimal support; extend from fundus to deep inguinal ring to labia
Where are ovarian ligaments?
Extending from ovary to uterus. Remnants of gubernaculum
What are infundibulopelvic ligaments?
Peritoneal folds over ovarian vessels
What forms the ejaculatory duct?
Vas deferens and ducts from seminal vesicles
What passes through prostate gland?
Urethra and ejaculatory ducts
Where do pelvic symp/pre nerves synapse?
Superior hypogastric plexus
