anatomy Flashcards
what is the origin of the right coronary artery
anterior aortic sinus
origin of left coronary artery
left posterior coronary sinus
whiuch is the non coronary sinus
the right posterior coreonary sinus
what is coronary artery dominance
Approximately 70% of the general population are right-dominant, 20% are co-dominant, and 10% are left-dominant.[3] A precise anatomic definition of dominance would be the artery which gives off supply to the AV node i.e. the AV nodal artery
which papillary muscle is more resistant to ischaemia
the antero lateral is more resistant as it receives dual supply from lad and circumflex
the posteromedial is more suscedptible as it receives blood onlky from thepda
venous drainage of thew foot
the foot is drained by the dorsal and plantar venous arch.they medially continue as bthe great saphenous vein anterior to the medial malleolus.ar the lateral end they continue as the short saphenous vein behind thye lateral maslleolus
how is the popliteal vein formed
The venae commitantes of the tibial arteries combine in the leg to form the popliteal vein. This ascends into the popliteal fossa alongside the popliteal artery and enters the adductor hiatus in the inferior thigh, where it becomes the femoral vein.
