A

Responsible person must be available to take you home and look after you
Do not drive, operate machinery or engage in other hazardous activities for 24 hrs+ after anaesthesia
Do not drink alcohol during this period

Midazolam precautions

A

Respiratory disease (including OSA)
Muscle weakness and pathology (including myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy, myotonias)
Renal failure
Hepatic failure
Elderly (risk of oversedation, falls, confusion, etc)
Children (can cause paradoxical excitation)
