partial toe
take off eentire toe, big toe issue
take off at MTP jt
toe disarticulation
take off entire metatarsal and phalanges
sew at angle
partial foot/ ray resection
cut through metatarsals, part of metatarsals left
transmetatarsals
remove all metatarsals to distally
tarsals left
tarsometatarsal or Lisfranc
calcaneus and talus intact
every other tarsals/ toes are gone
Chopart (add) (mid tarsal amp)
only distal tib fib, all tarsals are down/ gone
common heel pad sits on bottom and bear weight through heel
Ankle dysarticulation, Syme
greater than 50% of tibial or femur length
long transtibial / femoral
20-50% spared
transtibial/ transfemoral
less than 20% of tibia/ femur length
short transtibial, transfemoral
take joint apart and remove part of it
remove tib fib and just distal femur left
knee disarticulation
remove femur, leave acetabulum/ pelvis
hip disarticulation
remove half of pelvis and everything distal
keep L4/L5 keep SC intact
Hemipelvectomy/ transpelvectomy
below waist amp, remove pelvis/ everything distal, distal spine/ organs are left
