Tetrapod
A four legged animal
Metamorphosis
The change that tadpoles undergo when they change into adult frogs.
Frogs
A tailless amphibian with a short, squat body, smooth-moist skin, and very long hind legs for leaping.
Toads
A tailless amphibian with a short, stout body and short legs and usually having dry and warty skin that can excrete poison.
Newts
A small and slender bodied amphibian with lungs and a well developed tail. Spends adult life on land and returns to water to breed.
Salamanders
A newtlike amphibian that usually has bright-colored markings. Was once thought to have been able to endure fire.
Caecilians
A burrowing wormlike amphibian of a tropical order distinguished by poorly developed eyes and the lack of limbs.
Bladder
A membranous sac that holds the urine until it’s excreted.

Tympanic Membrane
A membrane that forms part of the hearing organ
Cloaca
Organ that receives, holds, and excretes waste products.
Gall Bladder
Organ that stores bile after it is produced by the liver
Heart
Organ that pumps blood through out the body.
Small Intestine
Coiled tubular organ where most of the digestion and absorption occurs.
Liver
The largest gland in the body; accessory organ to digestion, which produces and secretes bile before it is stored in the liver.
