The Aztecs were the Native American people who dominated northern Mexico at the time of the Spanish conquest in the early 16th century. The Aztecs were famous for their agriculture, land, art, and architecture. They developed writing skills, a calendar system and also built temples and places of worship. They were also known for being fierce and unforgiving. they were also known for their floating garden.
