Accessible routes specific numbers
A
- walking surfaces with a running slope not steeper than 1:20
- clear width of walking surfaces shall be 36 inches
- door openings shall provide a clear width of 32 inches minimum
- thresholds shall be 1/2 inch high maximum
- handles shall be 34 inches minimum and 48 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground
- ramp runs shall have a running slope not steeper than 1:12

Parking spaces specific numbers
A
- car parking spaces shall be 96 inches wide minimum & van parking spaces shall be 132 inches wide minimum
- accessible routes must connect parking spaces to accessible entrances
- access aisles serving car & van parking spaces shall be 60 inches wide minimum

Stairways specific numbers
A
- all steps on a flight of stairs shall have uniform riser heights and uniform tread depths (4 inch riser min, 7 inch riser max, and treads shall be 11 inches deep min)
-handrails shall be provided on both sides - handrails shall be continuous within the full length of each star flight
- top of gripping surfaces of handrails shall be 34 inches minimum and 38 inches maximum vertically above walking surfaces

Toilet and bathing rooms specific numbers
A
- clearance around toilet shall be 60 inches min measured perpendicular from the side wall & 56 inches min measured perpendicular from rear wall
- toilet seat height above the finish floor shall be 17 inches min and 19 inches max
- side wall grab bar shall be 42 inches long min, located 12 inches max from rear wall, & extend 54 inches min from rear wall

Bathroom specific numbers
A
- clearance in front of bathtubs shall extend the length of the bathtub & shall be 30 inches wide min
- transfer type shower compartments shall be 36 inches by 36 inches clear inside dimensions measured at the center points of opposing sides & shall have a 36 inch wide min entry on the face of the shower compartment
