What is the first Amendment?
The government can’t take away your right to free speech, press, assembly, potition, and religion.
What is the second Amendment?
The right to keep and bear arms.
What is the third Amendment?
Soldiers can’t keep quarters in your house in a time of peace.
What is the fourth Amendment?
The government can’t do unreasonable searches and seizures. Need probable cause.
What is the fifth Amendment?
Your Miranda Rights. Right to a grand jury. No double jeopardy. Your private property can’t be taken for public use without proper compensation. You don’t have to testify against yourself or your spouse in court.
What is the sixth Amendment?
Speedy and public trials. Impartial jury. Be informed of crime. Rights to lawyers. You can know who is testifying against you.
What is the seventh Amendment?
Excessive suits in civil cases means you get in jury.
What is the eighth Amendment?
No excessive bail or cruel and unusual punishment.
What is the ninth Amendment?
The Bill of Rights isn’t an extensive amount of rights. You have more.
What is the tenth Amendment?
Anything that isn’t a federal power goes to the states.
What is the eleventh amendment?
Suits against the states
What is the twelfth amendment?
Establishment of electoral college
What is the thirteenth amendment?
Abolition of slavery
What is the fourteenth amendment?
Due process
What is the fifteenth amendment?
Right to vote
