most common causes of a sudden painless loss of vision
A
1.ischaemic/vascular (e.g. thrombosis, embolism, temporal arteritis etc). e.g. occlusion of central retinal vein and occlusion of central retinal artery
- vitreous haemorrhage
- retinal detachment
- retinal migraine
