Heated aluminum gets forced through a steel die to create an extrusion the same shape as the die

Gusset: a bracket with a triangular support to distribute forces that is secured to an extrusion frame
Connection Plate: a plate used to connect multiple extrusions together and at strength and rigidity to an assembly
