- Perserved blinking and voluntary eye mov’t in vertical plane. Pupils respond to light. Sensory intact.

-Pt exhibits inconsitent evidence of consciousness. May be permanent or transient.

-State of impaired attention, memory and logical thinking with incoherent conversation and easy distractibility.
Rapid onset, fluctuating mental status. Marked decrease in short term memory

Delirium (acute confusional state)
