irradiated: bone marrow transplant, acuired or congenital cellular immunodeficiency , blood components donated bt first or second degree relatives

leuoreduced: chronically transfused patients, CMV for high risk patients, potential transplant recipients, previous febrile nonhemolytic transfusion reaction

washed,; IGa def, complement dependent autoimmune hemolytic anemia, continued allergic reaction( hives) with red cell transfusion despite antihistamine treatment
