description
epinephrine
adrenaline
epinephrine is a naturally occuring catecholamine that increases heart rate cardiac contractile force, myocardial electrical activity, systemic vascular resistance and systolic blood pressure and decreases overall airway resistance and automaticity. it also through bronchial artery constriction may reduce pulmonary conjestion and increase tidal volume and vital capacity
indications
epinephrine
adrenaline
to restore rhythm in cardiac arrest and severe allergic reactions
contraindications
epinephrine
adrenaline
narrow angle glaucoma, hemorrhagic traumatic or cardiac shock

name/class benydryl
diphenhydramine
antihistamine
description
dipenhydramine
benadryl
dipenhydramine blocks histamine release there by reducing bronchoconstriction, vasodilation and edema
indications
diphenhydramine
benadryl
anaphylaxis, allergic reactions and dystonic reactions
