1. Documents

What documents is needed in the aircraft for a flight?
- Airworthiness Certificate 91.203
- Special flight permit with operation specifications
- Registration Certificate 91.203
- Radio License (for operations outside the USA)
- Operating Limitations (AFM/POH, supplements, placards, markings) 91.9
- W&B Data
- Compass Deviation Card (if deviation is more than 10° per 23.1547 & 23.1327
- External Data Plate/Serial Number (45.11)
What inspections are needed for my aircraft?
Annual Inspection (12 months) 91.409
VOR Check (30 days) 91.171 (IFR)
100 hour inspection 91409
Altimeter, altitude reporting equipment, static system (24 months) IFR 91.411 (IFR)
Transponder: Tested every 24 months 91.413
ELT (12 months) 92.207

If my digital clock in the plane mounted that gives me information about time and temperature is broken, am I still legal to fly?
